MARQUISE ERC-20
The 2017 Ethereum art-linked fungible token: historical record, technical boundary, white paper and third-party market access.
MARQUISEMUSEUM is preserved here as part of the Archive's token history. The page separates what the 2017 record establishes from later M-I/M-II redemption architecture and the 2021 NFT migration. It is an archival and technical surface, not an investment memorandum, exchange, broker, valuation service or promise of present redemption.
Historical identity locked
Evidence-locked token record
A November 2017 Ethereum art-token genesis asset
Contemporaneous project material links the token initiative to Pimp Fashion, including artbook / framed-print purchase and authenticity functions. The supported classification is an art-linked fungible token. The Archive does not back-project the later M-I/M-II lifecycle into the November 2017 ERC-20, and it does not describe this fungible asset as a 2017 NFT.
Chronology boundary
2017 ERC-20 genesis → explicit public redemption record by January 2018 → later dual-state M-I/M-II architecture → 2021 NFT migration. These stages are related historically but are not treated as technically identical.
Third-party transaction surface
Matcha / 0x market access
Matcha no longer permits its full application to be framed reliably on third-party sites. This Archive-native panel therefore uses the read-only 0x Swap API only to test an indicative ETH → MARQUISEMUSEUM route. It does not connect a wallet, request approval, sign or submit a transaction. Execution remains on Matcha.

ERC-20 white paper
The white paper reconstructs the token's historical role and evidentiary limits. It distinguishes the 2017 Ethereum asset from the later Waves dual-state architecture and from the NFT migration that began in 2021. The embedded document is the patched v0.2 layout edition with justified body text and denser page composition; its historical claims are unchanged from the evidence lock.
The Archive can state the contract identity, November 2017 historical placement, the 66,000-unit supply record, contemporaneous art linkage, later redemption chronology, separate 2021 NFT migration and the existence of the current Matcha route. It does not infer a present redemption entitlement from historical redemption, and it does not treat the existence of a market route as evidence of liquidity or value.
Open audit items: direct contract/RPC confirmation of decimals and current total supply; callable owner/admin/mint/pause controls; current holder and liquidity-pool concentration; exact active pool reserves/depth; and any explicit 2026 redemption policy. Until those checks are closed, this page makes no stronger present-state claim about them.
